This Privacy Policy covers GameDay Director, the app and website for youth sports clubs at gamedaydirector.com and app.gamedaydirector.com. GameDay Director is a DBA (doing business as) name of Veteran LLC. In this policy, "GameDay Director," "we" and "us" mean Veteran LLC, doing business as GameDay Director.
We do not sell or share your SMS data
We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
Your mobile number and your consent to receive texts or calls are used only to send you the GameDay Director alerts you agreed to, and are not shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.
Text alerts come from (878) 777-GAME (878-777-4263). Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe, HELP for help.
What we collect
- Your account: your name, email address and, if you add it, your mobile number. You sign in with a code sent to your email.
- Your club and role: which clubs and teams you belong to and your role (for example parent, coach, team parent, board member or outside helper).
- Information about players: what a parent, guardian or the club enters when registering a player, such as name, birth date, grade, school, uniform sizes, home address, photo, parents and emergency contacts, and medical information (allergies and what to do, conditions, medications, doctor and health insurance).
- Club activity: schedules, attendance, injury reports and their updates, practice plans and reports, plays, equipment records, game stats and messages sent in the app.
- Payments: the amount, what it was for and whether it went through. Card payments are handled by Stripe; we do not receive or store card numbers.
- Location, only when you use these features: if you check a player in by phone at a practice or game, your phone's location is compared with the field's location. If the club has no ZIP code or field location set, the app can ask for your phone's location to show the weather forecast.
- Text and call alerts: if you opt in, your mobile number, which alerts you agreed to (texts, automated calls or both), the exact consent wording you agreed to, and when you opted in or out.
- Security: a check that sign-in requests come from a person (Cloudflare Turnstile), and records of who opened a player's medical information, when and why.
How we use it
- To run the app for your club: registration, schedules, attendance, injury reports, practice plans, plays, equipment, messages and payments.
- To send the alerts you asked for: in the app and, if you opted in, by text message and automated voice call (injury alerts, safety alerts, practice and game reminders and changes, and sign-in codes).
- To keep children's information to the people who need it, and to record who opened medical information.
- To answer questions you send us and to keep the service secure.
Who sees it
Inside your club, people see only what their role allows: a family sees its own children, a coach sees their own team, and the club's board sees the club. Outside helpers the board adds see only the jobs the board gives them. Opening a player's medical information is recorded with the person's name, the time and the reason.
We use these service providers to run GameDay Director. They handle information only to provide their service to us:
- Supabase: database, sign-in, file storage and server functions.
- Cloudflare: hosting for our websites and the sign-in check.
- Stripe: card payments.
- Twilio: sending text messages and automated voice calls to people who opted in.
- National Weather Service: receives a location (a field, the club's ZIP code area or, if you allowed it, your phone's location) to return a weather forecast. No names are sent.
We may also share information if the law requires it.
Your choices
- Texts and calls: reply STOP to any text to stop texts, or turn texts and calls off in the app under Account, Text and call alerts. Reply HELP for help.
- Your details: change your name and phone in the app under Account.
- Deleting your account: use Delete my account in the app, or email us.
Children
GameDay Director is used by adults: parents and guardians, coaches, board members and helpers. Information about a child is entered by the child's parent or guardian or by the child's club.
